The year 2023 marks 100 years of Livingston Watson Family reunions!

We are busy planning the agenda for this special occasion.  Our 100th reunion will be held over two days — August 4 and 5 in Livingston, Wisconsin.  It will start at 1:00pm on the Friday the 4th at the United Methodist Church, going into the evening with a catered meal and, hopefully, some entertainment.

The next morning (Saturday, August 5th), the day's events start with a 10:00am memorial service at Rock Church outside Livingston. As usual, there will be a potluck luncheon back at the Methodist Church at noon followed by a short meeting and a presentation on Sam Livingston, a prospector and early settler of Calgary who was a first cousin to Hugh Livingston, founder of our community of Livingston. We will hear Sam's life story after leaving Wisconsin.

It is recommended to book your hotel reservations now.  For the last two years, work crews for several utilities (solar farm, windmills and transmission lines) have filled the hotels in Grant County during the summer.  Even if you aren’t sure yet if you can make it, make the reservation and ask about the cancellation policy.

Looking forward to seeing you in August!

In the late 1700s, five branches of Livingston/Levingston and Watson families settled in Avoca, Carnew, Bolinahaney and Newtownbarry in Counties Wicklow and Wexford, Ireland. All lived within twenty miles of each other, but after more than 250 years, descendants can now be found all over the globe.

Since 1923, the Livingston Watson Family Association ( livingston.watson@yahoo.com) has celebrated its heritage by sponsoring a family reunion held in August each year in Livingston, Wisconsin, USA. This website brings together much of the family history, photos, news clippings and genealogical research that has accumulated over the years.
